• Beggining of the story

Conflict

• A problem is introduced

Rising action

• The events leading up to the climax

Climax

• The most exciting part of the story, the problem becomes as big as it will ever be

Falling Action

• The events after the climax that show the problem being solved

Resolution

• The conflict/problem is resolved

• You learn what happens to the characters after the CONFLICT is resolved
